Holesinsky Vineyard and Winery is doing what they can to capitalize on the hype of the solar eclipse.

"We had an idea to make a label for the solar eclipse," said winery manager Eric Smallwood.

And 'Blackout' was born.

"We’re literally hand bottling it," said winery owner James Holesinsky.

Alongside James, employees lined up to fill the special release bottles.

"Every bottle that you see we all touch at least once on it’s way to being bottled," Holesinsky said.

It was important to the winery that they keep production of this red wine local, down to the people that worked on it.

"This was thought up locally, the graphic designer is out of Boise, the bottles were screen printed in garden city, this is 100 percent local," Smallwood said.

They payed close attention to every step of the process.

"A lot of detail, a lot of work, a lot of back and forth a lot of looking at it saying, oh no, lets move it here, lets do that." Smallwood said.

They said, for them, the final product is living up to all of the work, saying today is the best part of the process so far.

"Finally getting it in the bottle and seeing it ready to go," Smallwood said.

The wine will go on sale next week all across Idaho, the winery is excited to share it as a momento of the event.
