Global wine and spirits importers, distributors, retailers and hospitality buyers are invited to attend the 18th HKTDC Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair, taking place November 5–7, 2026, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai.

Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the fair will bring together more than 600 exhibitors from 23 countries and regions, representing over 40 wine-producing origins. For businesses seeking new suppliers, portfolio additions and international partnerships, the event offers three days of product discovery, networking and industry education.

Discover Wines and Spirits from Around the World

The fair’s wine selection will span Old World and New World red, white and sparkling wines, alongside natural and organic wines. Exhibitors from Slovakia, Mexico, Portugal and Georgia will add further variety to the international offering.

Buyers can also explore Chinese baijiu, whisky, brandy, vodka, rum, tequila, gin, sake, Korean soju and beer, as well as low- and no-alcohol beverages.

For importers and distributors, this range provides an opportunity to compare products, meet producers directly and discuss potential partnerships for their markets. Retail and hospitality buyers can discover options for shelves, wine lists and beverage programs.

“World of Spirits” Returns for Its Second Year

The World of Spirits zone will feature spirits from 15 countries and regions, connecting international buyers with established brands and emerging producers.

Chinese baijiu will take a prominent role, with participating brands including Yanghe, Moutai, Wuliangye, Luzhou Laojiao, Fenjiu, Jiannanchun, Langjiu, Gujinggongjiu, Xijiu and Swellfun.

Their presence offers buyers an opportunity to explore the category’s diversity and connect with producers looking to develop their international reach. Hong Kong’s position as a gateway between the Chinese Mainland and international markets adds relevance for businesses seeking relationships across the region.

Sid Patel to Host a Session on Growing in Asia

Sid Patel, CEO of Beverage Trade Network and IBWSS Show, will host a session on how drinks businesses can grow in Asia and use Hong Kong as a gateway to the region.

The session will explore Asian growth opportunities and Hong Kong’s role as a starting point for regional expansion. For producers, exporters, importers and distributors looking to develop their presence in Asia, it will add a market development perspective to the fair’s sourcing and networking opportunities.

Meet Hong Kong’s Homegrown Producers

The fair will also showcase local brands bringing Hong Kong’s craftsmanship and creativity to international buyers.

Highlights include N.I.P Gin, Kowloon Distilling Company, described by organizers as Hong Kong’s first whisky distillery, and Hung’s Family Jiang-Flavour Spirits, founded by artist Timmy Hung. The latter combines Hong Kong action cinema culture with traditional brewing techniques from Moutai town.

These exhibitors give buyers an opportunity to discover locally developed products and discuss their potential for overseas markets.

Tastings, Cocktail Demonstrations and Industry Insights

A program of tastings, demonstrations, networking events and conferences will complement the exhibition.

On November 5, artist and wine expert Bernice Liu will lead representatives from Bar Leone, Coa, Penicillin, The Opposite and The Savoury Project in live cocktail demonstrations, showcasing Hong Kong’s bar culture.

On November 6, the fair will collaborate with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) to present “Geonbae (건배) from Korea,” featuring Korean spirits, bespoke cocktails and business networking.

Wine authorities Debra Meiburg MW, Jennifer Docherty MW and Bill Liu MW will host themed tasting sessions. Professional tasters Derek Li MS, Carlito Chiu and Anty Fung will also conduct blind evaluations to create personal recommendation lists, which will be announced on the opening day as sourcing guides for trade buyers.

The Wine Industry Conference will bring together industry leaders and experts to discuss market trends, changing consumer behavior and emerging business opportunities.

Explore Technology and Trade Services

A dedicated Service Zone will introduce technology and professional services for the drinks industry. Highlights include XOXO Beverages, demonstrating automated cocktail machines, and Woodlance, offering whisky investment and trading services.

For visitors, the zone broadens the fair’s offering beyond products to include tools and services supporting beverage businesses.
