USA Trade Tasting Sets Global Stage for International Wine, Beer and Spirits Producers

Beverage Trade Network (BTN) launches USA Trade Tasting in New York City with a focus to match international producers with US wine, spirits and beer importers.

Beverage Trade Network (BTN) is launching USA Trade Tasting (USATT) in New York City, March 21-22, 2016, with a focus to match international producers with U.S. wine, spirits and beer importers.

Objective:

To establish an annual alcohol beverage trade show & conference targeting the beer, craft beer, cider, spirits and wine industries internationally and in U.S.A. The event will include a traditional trade show along with a strong emphasis on education. 

In phase one (2016, 2017 & 2018) the event will establish its roots in New York City. Initially, the event will accommodate 200 exhibitors and 2,000-3,000 attendees. Once instituted, the next step is to migrate the event to a larger convention center, grow the number of exhibitors to 600-800 and attendance to 10,000+.

BTN's vision is to make USA Trade Tasting an international event that producers must attend if they want to grow in the U.S. market.

Concept Differentiation:

USA Trade Tasting will have a sit-down meeting area for exhibitors to conduct face-to-face meetings with potential buyers, aiming to drive deeper engagement between producers and buyers. The event includes a solid conference element where speakers will give producers insights on sales and distribution.

All overseas suppliers will be trained on the intricacies of the U.S. market. Suppliers will be provided with an in-depth analysis via a series of workshops that will cover a range of subjects from supporting your importer to getting the right pricing for the market.

USATT will also be launching a new product for the event called 'USATT Direct' which will allow producers to pitch to state distributors and retail chains. USATT Direct is a solution that USATT will offer alongside the compliance and logistic infrastructure of MHW.

BTN wants buyers to know that USATT exhibitors are prepared and ready for the U.S. market.
