About Us
We are Sacramento Spirits, a Uruguayan company created by two Engineers, one Uruguayan and one Argentine, at the end of 2022, dedicated to the distillation of high-end spirits.
We have our own model boutique distillery, with modern technology imported from Holland, and the only one in Uruguay with a Tasting Room open for visits and training.
There we brewed Sur 34 Gin, a contemporary gin recently awarded Best Gin in the World in San Francisco. Thanks to our redistilled alcohol and 15 natural botanicals, they give it a perfect complexity of flavors and aromas, where the Criolla Mandarin stands out.
By avoiding copper in the processes and reusing water, we are committed to sustainability, which is also reflected in our recycled glass bottle.
Quality at every stage of the process
Made in small batches of 90 liters.
Our column still with packing and reflux control allows us to produce a purer and smoother (cereal) alcohol, prior to producing gin.
After a 24-hour maceration and second distillation, our gin is hydrated with the purest reverse osmosis water and rests in stainless steel tanks for 4 weeks before moving into our beautiful bottle.
Sur 34 Gin has a balanced flavor profile that combines citrus, spicy, floral and herbal notes
The mandarin takes center stage, providing a refreshing explosion upon opening the bottle and in aroma, followed by a blend of juniper berries imported from Macedonia and Argentine Patagonia, which give it a subtle pine-like flavor.
The peppery and spicy touch at the end are characteristic of the peppers chosen: Rose and Sichuan, along with rosemary, Angelica root, chamomile, orris among others, which provide slightly earthy notes.
This makes it an ideal companion to enjoy in Gin & Tonic with a good tonic, or to make a Negroni.
