According to the Dfnionline, In response to the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak, Viña Concha y Toro has had its laboratory certified to diagnose Coronavirus.

The wine company’s molecular biology laboratory has been certified by the Universidad Católica del Maule’s (UCM) Biomedical Research Laboratory to carry out diagnostic tests as part of a national network under the guidance of the country’s Ministry of Science, Technology, Knowledge and Innovation.

Viña Concha y Toro CEO Eduardo Guilisasti said: “We want to collaborate with our capabilities to overcome this health crisis, supporting prevention and early diagnosis.

“As part of our contribution to the Private Emergency Health Fund, together with the donation of hand sanitizer to health authorities, we have also made our cutting-edge technological equipment and team of professionals at the Center for Research and Innovation available to them.”
