According to Wine Industry Advisor, Opici Family Distributing is pleased to announce its acquisition of Organic Vintages, an organic-focused wine wholesaler that services New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. 

Organic Vintages was founded by Steve Frenkel in 1988, with a forward-thinking approach to the wine industry that has resulted in a portfolio of premium, USDA-certified wines made from 100% organically grown grapes with no or low sulfites added. This portfolio specializes in natural, biodynamic, vegan, sugar-free, fair trade selections.

“As our industry evolves, we need to constantly look to stay ahead of the trends,” said Dina Opici, President of Opici Family Distributing. “We feel that the addition of the Organic Vintages portfolio will allow us to bring the best-positioned organic portfolio to our customers, and we are excited to start the year with such a great addition.”

The portfolio includes suppliers such as Frey Vineyards, Natural Merchants, Badger Mountain Vineyard, and Beaver Creek Vineyards, among others.
