Moët Hennessy launches luxury online shop

Moët Hennessy has unveiled Clos19, thought to be the first dedicated luxury wine, spirits and Champagne e-commerce platform of its kind.

04/05/2017

The brainchild of founder and CEO, Stephanie Watine Arnault, Clos19 (www.clos19.com) will provide the LVMH Group’s alcohol portfolio, alongside a selection of curated experiences.

Championing the “art of hosting”, the online platform will provide consumers with the opportunity to learn about LVMH’s wine, spirits, and Champagne portfolio.

The website will also include a blog, called Journal19, featuring tailor-made content across a range of “brand-friendly” lifestyle topics.

The e-commerce platform will provide over-the-phone dedicated specialists, who can offer advice, from food pairings and cocktail recipes to glassware and event staff.

Experiences on offer range from intimate tastings with brand ambassadors and cellar masters to once-in-a-lifetime journeys, including a trip to Antarctica with private “ice-inspired” tastings outside and “fire-inspired” dinners in a luxury camp.

“I am delighted that Moët Hennessy is now able to offer consumers an innovative new lifestyle brand and retail platform for our iconic wines and spirits houses,” said Christophe Navarre, president, and CEO of Moët Hennessy. “

Clos19 represents a great entrepreneurial initiative within the group. It shows a continued investment and focuses on LVMH’s long-term vision and commitment to fresh and creative innovations.”

Arnault added: “Clos19 is a design-led lifestyle retail brand which champions and inspires the art of hosting. It gives more immediate and sophisticated access to not only our exceptional products but also provides the services, accessories, and experiences that enable our audience to become the perfect hosts.

“It uses the digital world to communicate in a contemporary and playful way the values of the art de Vivre, always putting the consumer at the heart of the experience.”
