According to the timesuniononline, Kosciusko County Alcoholic Beverage Commissioners Elim Smith, Alan Alderfer, Dan Woods and state excise officer April Tackett met virtually Thursday through Microsoft Teams with a call-in option.

Tippy Creek Winery owners Lori and Daniel Richcreek attended the meeting for approval of a beer and wine retailer license for a restaurant. The winery is at 5920 N. CR 200E, Leesburg.

Lori said they initially applied for a beer-only retailer license as wine sales are covered under their federal wine manufacturing permit. When the vote was called, Lori joined in with a resounding “aye,” for which she quickly apologized and everyone laughed. “We knew you’d vote yes,” Tackett said.
