Pinkster Launches Raspberry-Flavoured Spirit

British gin brand Pinkster is embracing the zero-waste movement with the launch of a limited edition spirit, made from recycled raspberries.

23/05/2018

Limited to 3,000 bottles, the spirit is made from recycled, gin-soaked raspberries from nearby Sun close Farm.

The expression is the Cambridge-based company’s third natural by-product and follows the launch of Boozy Berries in 2015, and Gin Jam in 2016.

The new expression indicates Pinkster’s commitment to sustainability and its efforts to minimize waste.

Pinkster Royale has been created primarily as an ingredient for cocktails, and can be added to a glass of Prosecco or enjoyed neat over ice.

Stephen Marsh, managing director at Pinkster, said: “There’s a clue in the name. Our latest tipple will pimp up your Prosecco with a delicious raspberry hit.

“Initial trade reaction to Pinkster Royale, from our local trials, has been mighty positive, with outlets telling us that people like the whole backstory along with the luscious, fruity flavour.”

Bottled at 24% abv, Pinkster Royale is available in 35cl bottles for an RRP of £24.00.

Earlier this year, Pinkster launched a recyclable bag-in-box format: Pinkster on Tap.

There is a myriad of other pink spirits out there to be enjoyed, as depicted in our top 10 captivating pink spirits.
