Global Spirits US, a privately held, international manufacturer and marketer of wines and spirits, is expanding its northeastern sales team with the additions of Dawn Orlando as NY State manager, Alex Cruz-Sanchez as metro NY State manager, and David Schmidt as NJ State manager.

“Our team is growing because our brands are growing,” notes Max Dubossarsky, Global Spirits USA CEO. “We’ve seen tremendous distribution gains with both on- and off-premise accounts in both NY and NJ and these relationships need to be nurtured and expanded so we can continue to introduce our brands to more consumers.”

Orlando has over 25 years experience in the beverage alcohol industry and began her career with Charmer Industries and Jim Beam Brands. Her main focus will be with on- and off-premise accounts in Nassau and Suffolk Counties on Long Island.

Cruz-Sanchez also has more than 25 years of experience in the industry, starting out with Manhattan Beverage Distributors and continuing with Premier-Gallo Wine Company and All Star Imports. He will focus on accounts in NY’s five boroughs and Westchester County. 

Schmidt comes from Proximo Spirits and has spent the majority of his entire career in New Jersey, cultivating numerous retail contacts and relationships, both off- and on-premise.
