According to The Spirits Business, Due to lockdown regulations in the UK as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the blind-tasting competition will not be able to go ahead in its regular format to ensure the safety of all judges and in compliance with government rules.

Instead, the tasting will take place at the homes of expert judges, under the same strict blind-tasting conditions as a regular competition. Samples will be packed and shipped to each judge’s home address, ensuring all entrants remain completely anonymous.

Each entrant will be assessed constructively and without bias by our professional judges, overseen by Melita Kiely, editor of The Spirits Business magazine and chair of The Global Spirits Masters.

The entry deadline for The Gin Masters 2020 is 20 May and the sample deadline is 26 May.
