The CEO of Beverage Trade Network (BTN), the organisers of this year's Australian Trade Tasting and Conference, has told TheShout how excited he is with the range and depth of speakers at this year's show.

Sid Patel told TheShout that “AuTT Conference is designed to help marketing and sales professionals, business owners, and distributor executives from wine, spirits and beer industry deepen their knowledge of sales and marketing through a combination of inspiring keynote presentations."

BTN has recently confirmed that Rose Scott, general manager buying, with the Woolworths Liquor Group will be a keynote speaker at the conference which takes place on September 1 in Melbourne. Scott will be joined by the founder of Liquid Ideas, Four Pillars Gin and president of Australian Distillers Association, Stuart Gregor.

Gregor will speak to the conference about "how to make people fall in love with your brand".

Among the others joining Gregor and Scott will be Glenn Cooper, the chairman and national sales director at Coopers Brewing. Cooper will be talking on "managing and growing your beer brand: specialist brands against the global breweries".

Patel also told TheShout: "Glenn held the responsibility of marketing and oversaw the launch of numerous beers in the Coopers range, including Dark Ale, Extra Strong Vintage Ale, Mild Ale, Premium Lager, and more recently, Coopers Clear.

“We are really looking forward to Glenn sharing his insight on management and sales at the conference."

Conference registration is now open for the event, with an earlybird registration price of $280 available before 31 March.

Patel also told TheShout that there are limited spaces left for exhibitors, adding: "We have some great exhibitors at the tastings that we are doing on August 31 in Melbourne and September 7 in Sydney and we'd encourage anyone who wants to show their brand to key personnel in the Australian trade to contact us now."
