Niles, IL – Jan 14th, 2020 – Award-winning importer Winesellers, Ltd. announces a line extension to its organic Italian brand Tiamo – Tiamo Organic Prosecco DOC Rosé will launch nationally with the suggested retail price of $15.99.  The arrival will be just in time to kick-off the Spring season.

The newly approved designation of Prosecco DOC Rosé requires single vintage produced bottlings. Tiamo Prosecco DOC Rose is fresh from the recent 2020 harvest with certified organically grown Glera and Pinot Nero.  Jordan Sager, Co-President of Winesellers, Ltd. comments, “It is exciting for this new and emerging category that combines two hot trends in recent times, Rose and Prosecco.” Additionally, he adds, “Tiamo is an organic brand, so differentiating ourselves as a Prosecco Rose made from certified organic grapes will set us apart as well as respond to consumers’ growing interest in supporting wines that are working with nature.”

Tiamo Prosecco DOC Rosé is certified NOP as “made with organic grapes” and is also vegan. The blend of 85% organic Glera and 15% Organic Pinot Nero undergo separate primary fermentations, then are blended in steel tanks with the addition of must and selected yeasts for the second fermentation (Martinotti – Charmat method) at a controlled temperature. Once the wine has reached the required pressure levels, alcohol, and sugar content, it is refrigerated, cold stabilized and filtered before bottling.
