Somerset based cider producr, Sheppy's has revealed its new look portfolio and the release of a cloudy addition.

The business has spent the last six months building for the future with a strategy that underlines the brand’s premium position. With figures supplied by by the brand suggesting the premium cider market is basking 24% growth, Sheppy's claim that it was time to reinforce its high end credentials by rationalising and re-branding its core range in line with consumer demand.

The result is a streamlined portfolio of seven premium ciders. They all come with a new identity – one which symbolises Sheppy's 200-year heritage. They now bear David Sheppy's signature too, adding a personal touch.

The Sheppy's collection of ciders has been streamlined, which it claims makes it easier for the drinker – and the retailer – to explore and choose which one is right for them.

It now includes the addition of Original Cloudy – as Sheppy's respond to the demand for a cloudy variant in the range. That sits alongside Classic Draught, Vintage Reserve, 200 Special Edition, Dabinett Apple, Kingston Black and Cider with Raspberry. Available in 500ml bottles, keg and bag in box, Sheppy's ciders are for supermarkets, retail and on-trade.

Sheppy's worked with GillHarrisJames, a Cheltenham-based strategic business consultancy and design experts Hurricane Design.

David Sheppy said: "With the trend for premium cider in growth, it fuelled the need for a brand refresh that reinforced our premium positioning – and a streamlining of our core range for added clarity.
