Nestled in the breathtaking Dalar village, Armenia, amid the snow-capped peaks of Mount Ararat, Aregak's journey began over 150 years ago and stands to be one of Armenia's oldest and most renowned distillery. Perfecting the Distillation Process
Our brandy begins with the finest indigenous grapes—Kangun, Rkatsiteli, Mskhali, and Voskeat—sourced exclusively from the Ararat Valley, a region renowned for its complex soils and diverse flavor profiles. With over 30 unique soil types, each vine contributes to the unmistakable richness of our distillates.
The Art of Cooperage
True character in brandy is born from time and tradition. Our spirits age gracefully in century-old Armenian oak barrels for a minimum of three years, drawing out deep, signature flavors. Crafted without nails or glue, our barrels are the work of a master cooper whose skills are so revered that wineries across the nation seek his expertise to restore their own barrels.
The Secret of Maturation
Brandy is a spirit that rewards patience. At Aregak, each drop matures in numbered oak barrels. This careful ageing allows the spirit to form its character, untouched by haste. And yes, the 'Angel’s Share'—the 1.5% of spirit that evaporates each year—is our humble tribute to tradition.
