Makar Cherry Gin is infused with fresh cherries and a sprinkling of pink peppercorn.

Bottled at 40% abv, the expression is recommended with tonic over ice or in a Collins-style serve.

The gin is the fifth expression to join the Makar range, which includes Original Dry Gin, Old Tom Gin, Oak Aged Gin, and Mulberry Aged Gin. The company also launched its inaugural single malt Scotch whisky in March this year.

Makar Cherry Gin has an RRP of £25 (US$32) for a 500ml bottle and is available to buy online from the distillery and select retailers

The launch of Makar Cherry Gin follows a succession of awards for the Makar range, including Makar Original Dry Gin winning Master status in the Super Premium category at The Gin Masters and Makar Oak Aged Gin achieving a Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
