D1 Potato Vodka has been awarded a double gold medal, the highest accolade in the 2016 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Dominic Limbrey, founder of D1 London Spirits said: “We launched D1 Potato Vodka in October 2015, knowing that we were offering a super-premium product, so it’s fantastic to have this confirmed by what is considered to be the most influential spirits competition in the world. We are delighted to have won double gold in San Francisco.”

Double gold indicates an outstanding product earning top marks from all of the judges. The San Francisco World Spirits Competition was founded in 2000 to determine and award exceptional products in the spirits industry. This year’s competition attracted more than 1,850 entries and medal winners represent some of the finest products from around the world.
