Young’s Market Company, the premier distributor of wine and spirits in the western U.S., proudly announces the grand opening of its new headquarters and warehouse facility located at 402 South 54th Place in Phoenix, Arizona. Situated on 19 acres in the Phoenix metro area, the new 27,000-square foot office building and 195,000-square-foot warehouse replaces the company’s previous facility located in West Phoenix. The property also boasts a freestanding 25,000-square-foot building featuring a 30-foot bar designed to bring together Young’s nearly 400 employees, clients, customers and industry partners.

“Our customers deserve nothing but the best from Young’s Market Company, so we are thrilled that our new state-of-the-art facility will allow us to provide higher-quality products and faster service,” said David Bart, Executive Vice President and General Manager for Young’s Market Company of Arizona.

Innovative technology in the warehouse positions Young’s Market Company for future growth in Arizona. The warehouse features include: a fleet of 32 hydrogen fuel cell powered industrial trucks; a multi-shuttle buffering system that holds more than 5,000 products managed by 32 robotic shuttles and 2 elevators; and a digital video product verification system to ensure accuracy for loading and delivery.

A ribbon cutting ceremony on February 13 officially opened the new facility as local elected officials and industry partners joined Young’s Market Company’s leadership team to celebrate the grand opening.

“Young’s Market has hit the bullseye with their new facility by illustrating just how far the distribution industry has come,” remarked Steve Chucri, President and CEO of the Arizona Restaurant Association and Maricopa County Supervisor for District 2. “As a restaurant industry, we applaud their success and forward-thinking mindset in building this state-of-the-art building to serve their customers.”

“We are pleased Young’s Market Company has made a significant investment with their new operating facility in Phoenix,” said Director John Cocca of the Arizona Department of Liquor License and Control. “Their ability to assist us with obtaining and maintaining compliance within the three-tiered system has improved with their new operating technology.”

“As a premier wine and spirits distributor in Arizona, we are incredibly grateful for the partnership with Young’s Market Company and its continued investment in Arizona,” stated Kim Sabow, President & CEO of the Arizona Lodging & Tourism Association (AzLTA).  “Young’s is an important partner in championing a friendly, fair, legal and level business operating environment in Arizona. Thanks to the company’s leadership, the entrepreneurial spirit in Arizona is thriving. The AzLTA is proud to recognize Young’s Market Company as our Allied Tourism Partner of the year.”
