PepsiCo confirmed to the Daily News that they have been testing a "Dorito-inspired" flavor at colleges and universities. Speculation started online about Dewitos after Reddit user joes_nipples (CNET is reporting his real name is Steve Barnes) posted a photo of samples of an orange-colored soda given out at a "Mtn Dew Dewitos" booth with the caption, "They were giving samples of this, it actually tastes like Doritos."
