Mother Earth Brew Co. to open second brewery in Idaho, plans to open in mid-2016

San Diego County-based production craft brewer, has selected Nampa, Idaho as the location for its second brewery

26/10/2015

(Nampa, ID) – Mother Earth Brew Co., a San Diego County-based production craft brewer, has selected Nampa, Idaho as the location for its second brewery facility. This marks its first brewery expansion outside of California.

A collaborative effort between the City of Nampa Economic Development, Boise Valley Economic Partnership and private industry helped bring the brewery to the Valley. Working with Mike Fery at Rocky Mountain Properties, Mother Earth secured an existing 40,000 square-foot facility in the I-84 Industrial Park for its brewery, tasting room and corporate office space.

The brewery is currently ordering new equipment and plans on being operational by early to mid-2016. The goal for the facility is to double the brewery’s overall production capability and allow for expansion into additional Pacific Northwest markets.

Mother Earth will start hiring initial employees in the spring of 2016 and anticipates growing to 75-100 employees in Idaho within the next five years. Interested applicants can pass on their resumes to info@motherearthbrewco.com.

Brewery founder and CEO Dan Love and his wife Erin, along with head brewer Chris Baker, will move to Nampa to lead the new project. “As we looked at where Mother Earth could expand, we wanted to be in a location that embraced craft breweries,” noted Dan Love. “We are excited to work closely with other brewers in the region to continue building on the craft brew scene the Boise Valley is becoming known for, and Erin and I are personally looking forward to becoming very engaged in the community.”
