Cathead is relocating to a new distillery in downtown Jackson, Miss. that will increase its production. With a ribbon cutting on Dec. 8 and grand opening celebration on Dec.12, it will soon be ready to create more spirits including whiskey, in this larger space.

For the past five years, Cathead Distillery has been building its distribution and portfolio of brands and staying true to their Mississippi roots. As Mississippi’s first distillery, Cathead has stayed strong and is now in need of more space to cater to its growth. The new distillery will move from a 7,000-square-foot-space in Madison, Miss. to a new location at 422 South Farish Street in Jackson, Miss. The new distillery will provide the company with 20,000 square feet to make multiple spirits, including Cathead Vodka, Cathead Honeysuckle, Cathead Pecan, Bristow Gin, Bristow Reserve Gin and Hoodoo Chicory Liqueur. The move will offer Cathead the ability to distill other spirits, including whiskey.
