Great Divide Releases Fourth Local Knowledge Series Beer

Great Divide Brewing will be releasing the fourth beer in their Local Knowledge series, a Zwickelbier with an unexpected twist.

14/07/2017

Great Divide Brewing will be releasing the fourth beer in their Local Knowledge series, a Zwickelbier with an unexpected twist. This unfiltered German ale is malt-forward with tones of bread and toasted cracker and just enough earthy hop character for a crisp finish. The addition of Mandarina Bavaria hops brings a surprise hint of tangerine and citrus. This super limited batch will be exclusively available on draft and in 6-packs at the Great Divide Tap Room and Barrel Bar starting at 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 22nd.

Local Knowledge is Great Divide’s hyper-limited, hyper-local pilot series. These single-batch, pilot brews are designed to give you something new to take home each time you visit. Drink, discover, and share your #localknowledge.

About Great Divide Brewing

They brew by a simple philosophy: let them do their part for the environment and run their business responsibly while giving back to their local Denver community. Whether it is donating their time, their beer, or working to brew with greener initiatives, here at Great Divide Brewing Co. they are passionate about their environmental and social responsibility.

Some of their environmental initiatives include: donating their spent grain to a local cattle farm, using recycled 12oz bottles from a Colorado plant, recycling all of their cardboard and glass, and capturing hot water created during the wort cooling process for future use. Similarly, their 6-pack carriers are 100% recycled paperboard and their outer boxes are 50% post consumer recycled material. They also keep throw-away packaging to a minimum as 40% of their production is draft beer. Additionally, all of their employees are provided with eco-passes to help reduce their individual footprints.
