Amor de Maguey Mezcal
Clásico Amor de Maguey is produced by one of the most important and recognized families in Oaxaca using traditional artisanal methods. It is made of 100% Agave Espadín and its natural smoky flavor is derived from cooking the best agave plants in a conical stone oven on mesquite and ocote, woods native to Oaxaca. These ingredients give to Clásico Amor de Maguey its particular character and unique flavor.
The Process
Crafted at a Palenque (place and equipment within the family facilities where the Agave is collected and processed to be finally packaged as Mezcal). This Palenque is localized in Matatlan city which is considered as the Mezcal capital of Oaxaca state. The production process is supervised and carried out by the third generation grower and distiller master. Clásico Amor de Maguey is produced in small batches following traditional methods and the master grandmothers recipe.
The Product
Clásico Amor de Maguey is a Young Premium Mezcal containing an alcohol percentage of 40°, made from 100% Agave Espadín (Angustifolia).
Our Mezcal has been certified by the COMERCAM, Mexican Verifier of the Mezcal quality standards. It is an excellent spirit to make cocktails as well as to drink it straight.

It was born to evoke this Mexican tradition to remind us that it does not matter to fall, but always to get up first and get ahead. Mezcal a trés caidas is made with Maguey de Espadín Joven, it has a strong flavor that does not “scrape” and is 100% handmade.
