Since 1976 Wine-making Le Bouchon is a household name in The Hague and surroundings. Founders Gerard and Eef Keijzer were mainly occupied with wine, delicacies and catering in the early years. In 1999, the focus was on 100% wine. 

The wine assortment now consists of about 1200 varieties. Besides the well-known classic countries such as France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Germany, South Africa is a very important player. For 36 years we have been sourcing wines from the best Estates here. With us you will find the largest selected ZA assortment in the Netherlands. In addition, we have top Australian, New Zealand, Argentinian and Chilean. 

In 2016, the youngest son Erik became a partner in the business. He also has an enormous passion for wine and with his purchasing and supply chain background, Le Bouchon is even more concerned with own imports. Another important factor is a lot of testing, because we do quality control. If a certain wine or region is a year against, then we are looking for a very good alternative. Our customers are accustomed and spoiled. 

Main target group are bon vivants, people who love good food and wine adventure. And for the companies: Creative thinking and taking care of "made-to-measure" gifts. The basis is an extremely pleasant business in the Valeriusstraat 51 , where people can wallow in a world of wine.
