Wine Enthusiast offers 2-day sale to aid employee-relief fund
Wine Enthusiast is donating a portion of sales over two days to help restaurant workers affected by coronavirus restrictions.
According to the Cleveland, Wine Enthusiast is donating 10% of all sales over a two-day period to a relief fund for restaurant workers.
The site says the percentage from sales made Tuesday and Wednesday, May 5-6, via wineenthusiast.com or Wine Enthusiast’s call center will go directly to the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation’s Restaurant Employee Relief Fund.
The fund - with support from chef-restaurateur-television host Guy Fieri, aids restaurant-industry employees feeling the effects from coronavirus restrictions. Through RERF, grants will be made to workers who have lost wages or jobs.
