In September 2017 our two Chianti wines, namely IlPrimo 2015 a Chianti Superior made with 100% Sangiovese grapes and Senio 2015 a Chianti with a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Syrah was awarded GOLD at Mundus Vini spring tasting. 165 sommerlier from over 40 countries tasted nearly 5000 wines from all over the world. Scoring 93 and 92 points respectively. We are pleased that a Bio wine is able to stand up to non bio wines in taste and quality.

Vignano is located in the breathtaking Tuscan Hills to the south of florence in the Chinati Colli Fiorentini area.

The Vineyard comprises 28 hectares of land, of which 12 hectares is vine. There are 450 Olive Trees.

Vignano is a biodynamic vineyard and winery. A DOCG certified vineyard it borders Colli Fiorentini and the Chianti Classico Region.

Our Sangiovese, Brunello, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Manseng, and Viognier vines were specifically planted in areas that best suit their, environmental needs.
