The fifth edition of ProWine China, International Trade Fair for Wines and Spirits, will be held from November 14 - 16, 2017 in Halls W4-W5 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC). With its unsurpassed diversity of global wines and spirits, China’s leading trade fair for this sector has attracted an increased number of wine and spirits producers and industry insiders from around the world. To date, over 700 exhibitors from 33 countries along with 17 country pavilions and three region pavilions have reserved exhibit space. Compared to the 2016 staging, the exhibit space this year has increased by 20%.

Leading wine producing nations such as France, Italy, Spain, Australia, Germany, Portugal and the U.S. will be well represented. Wine Institute of California will take part with several of its member companies. Armenia will make its debut at ProWine China 2017 with a country pavilion. Australia will have a strong participation with 22 companies in the Australian pavilion hosted by Wine Australia in addition to about 20 individual Australian exhibitors. Overall, Australian companies will occupy 30% more space than last year.

World renowned wine and spirits companies will showcase their products at ProWine China 2017. As one of France's largest producers and traders of wines and spirits, Les Grands Chais de France (GCF Group), very satisfied with last year's participation, has increased their exhibition area for this year’s event. One of the leading Russian premium vodka producers – Beluga Vodka International Limited – will exhibit for the first time this year. The champagne brand Delphine Revillon will be a new addition in ProWine China 2017’s Champagne Lounge.

RVF China Zone with fine wines from China

Following the debut of the China Pavilion during ProWine China 2016, a collection of premium Chinese wineries will again participate in ProWine China 2017: the first 16 premium chateaux bearing the “Chateau Wine Certification Trademark” issued by the China Alcoholic Drink Association will be present at the RVF China Zone to showcase fine wines from various Chinese regions including Xinjiang, Ningxia, Huailai and Liaoning (ice wine).

Renowned experts offer a wide range of industry knowledge

The ProWine Asia 2017 organizers are committed to long-term wine education and the exhibits will be complemented by an extensive ancillary program consisting of forums, master classes and tasting zones. Professor Li Demei will continue to preside over the industry forum with the theme “Understanding Chinese Consumers.” Masterclasses will include the WSET Forum on all three days of the show, along with a wide selection of courses organized by various international pavilions.
