Outlot Wines Adds New Sonoma Rosé

The brand continues to pay tribute to Sonoma County’s rich agricultural heritage with line extension

16/07/2019

Outlot introduces their new Rosé to the U.S. market, adding to the lineup of wines crafted in honor of Sonoma’s rich agricultural heritage and that is sourced from appellations within Sonoma County. This elegant, beautifully labeled rosé is a blend of Zinfandel and Merlot sourced from Alexander Valley.

By definition, the term Outlot is a piece of land situated outside town or city limits. In this case, “Outlot” represents the special area just outside downtown Healdsburg, fondly known to locals as the “Magnolia Peninsula.” This area has a long and rich history filled with stories of great ranches and exclusive resorts. It was famous for, and still is, rich farmlands that boast as much as twenty-four feet of topsoil in many areas.

“Adding a Rosé wine to the brand lineup was a natural fit with the feminine appeal of the package and the continued growth of premium rose wine in the market,” says Senior Brand Manager Stephanie Hahn. “The wine was crafted to maintain a clear expression of the Alexander Valley fruit with the grace and elegance of a Provencal Rosé.” The end product fits within the brand’s goal of offering classic Sonoma wines at approachable price points.

The new Rosé joins Outlot’s Sonoma County Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay and Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The suggested retail price for Outlot Rosé is $22.99. The wine is distributed nationally through Southern Glazers.
