Les Dauphins is launching its Côtes du Rhône Villages Grande Réserve in two new formats at Waitrose.

Created by Union des Vignerons des Côtes du Rhône, in collaboration with UK based French wine specialist Dedicated Wines, the Les Dauphins brand was launched in 2011.

The Les Dauphins wines are created by winemaker Guillaume Valli, using traditional grapes such as Syrah and Grenache from the group’s southern Rhône vineyards, with the majority of grapes for their Villages wine coming from the 18 classified communes.

June saw a listing for the 187ml bottles and the Bag in Box will launch in July with Waitrose, which recently launched the new Les Dauphins Blanc de Blancs and already stocks Les Dauphins Cru des Côtes du Rhône Vinsobres.
