Cape Barren Wines Wins Four Medals at the Wine Competition in London

Cape Barren Wines wins one gold medal, one silver medal and two bronze medals during the wine competition held in London this year.

London was the host city for this newly launched global wine competition that judges wines on how good they are to look at as well as to drink. Cape Barren Wines took home four medals at this leading wine competition. 2015 Old Vine Shiraz, Native Goose GSM, 2016 Nativa Goose Chardonnay, and 2016 Funky Goose Gruner Veltliner are the winning bottles of Cape Barren Wines.

Awarded with a gold medal in prestigious 2018 London Wine Competition, 2015 Old Vine Shiraz from Cape Barren is full of ripe black fruits, spice and liquorice and anise aromas with hints of French oak. It is full-bodied on the palate which is silky and smooth with the highlights of blackcurrant, liquorice, mocha and spices. The finish is long lasting with elegant soft tannins.

Cape Barren Wines Four Winning Wines

Native Goose GSM has bright crimson-purple hues retaining its youthful appeal. This medium to full-bodied and juicy wine won the silver medal at 2018 London Wine Competition. The other two, 2016 Nativa Goose Chardonnay and 2016 Funky Goose Gruner Veltliner reserved the bronze medals in the competition.

Cape Barren Wines are produced hand selected vineyards with exceptional quality and consistency. The Reds of Cape Barren from the vines older than 45 years. These old vines produce the wine of supreme combination and complexity not seen in many younger wines.
