Texas beverage veterans launch RTD cocktails line
A group of beverage industry veterans have launched Mighty Swell Sparkling Cocktails, a ready-to-drink cocktail in a can now widely available throughout Texas.
Leading the venture are Clayton Christopher, previously the founder and CEO of Sweet Leaf Tea and chairman and co-founder of Deep Eddy Vodka; Daniel Barnes, founder and CEO of Treaty Oak Brewing and Distilling Company; Sean Cusack, an investment industry professional with experience at Goldman Sachs and UBS, and President Jason Bronstad, who joins Mighty Swell from an executive position at Mike`s Hard Lemonade.
Christopher and Barnes have combined their extensive distilled spirits industry experience to deliver on the brainchild of Cusack: a better ready-to-drink cocktail. Together they have created sparkling juice cocktails made from a unique fruit-based wine. Mighty Swell Sparkling Cocktails are made with premium ingredients including real fruit juice and pure cane sugar, then carbonated to create a distinctive cocktail with five percent alcohol by volume. The cocktails do not contain high-fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors, sodium benzoate, or food dyes.
