The International Bulk Wine & Spirits Show (IBWSS) has announced that exhibitor registrations are now 80% sold out. With just over three months to go until the event, the first-ever IBWSS trade show at the South San Francisco Conference Center in San Francisco this July 26-27, 2017 has already surpassed its early bird quota.

IBWSS is a dynamic B2B trade show and conference dedicated to connecting wineries, importers, supermarkets, retailers, restaurants, distilleries and other buyers. The event gives these participants a premier international platform to source bulk wines and spirits and meet private label suppliers.

“Current registration numbers have far exceeded our early bird expectations,” said Sid Patel, CEO of the event organizer Beverage Trade Network, which also organizes the USA Trade Tasting event in New York City. “This is shaping up to be a unique opportunity for people in the bulk trade. It gives them a truly dynamic platform where buyers can confidently conduct business with the world’s most reputable suppliers.”

IBWSS exhibitors are wineries and distilleries looking to sell bulk wine and spirits; producers and negociants who offer contract manufacturing or private label programs; and wineries, distilleries and importers who have one-time excess stock to clear.

IBWSS buyers are wineries and distilleries looking to meet their demand; importers, retailers and distributors looking to private label programs; and negociants who are looking to meet new growers and producers.

In addition to the main exhibitor hall, the event will include the following elements:

Business Conference: The IBWSS is a two-day event that brings together some of the most influential professionals in the alcoholic beverage industry. The conference will feature 16 TED-style talks from speakers such as Tim Hanni MW, a specialist in wine analysis and tasting; Brandy Rand of IWSR; and Deborah Parker Wong, a wine industry journalist, educator and judge.

  • Workshops: Attendees will also have the opportunity to get advice from industry experts in a series of six, highly personalized workshops over a period of two days. Workshops will focus on topics such as postmodern winemaking and creating the perfect wine blend.
  • Networking opportunities: Attendees will get insights into what strategies and standards the industry’s top thinkers are using to shape the marketplace. The two-day event includes plenty of opportunities for informal networking.

The International Bulk Wine & Spirits Show is designed to give participants a unique look at one of the fastest-growing segments of the wine industry: the bulk trade and private label segment.
