Bordeaux 500 makes biggest gain since 2011
As primeurs swings into action in Bordeaux this week, the Liv-ex Bordeaux 500 Index has experienced its biggest gain in the last five years.
The index rose by 2.4% to close the month of March on 249.01 – its biggest month on month gain since February 2011, when it was up by 3%.The Bordeaux 500 put in the strongest performance within the Liv-ex 1000 Index in March, which itself was up by 1.7%, closing the month on 253.59.
