Like the city`s two great rivers, craft beer and wine is flowing into The Forks.

Following the completion of a $2.8 million renovation to its Food Hall, The Forks Market is opening a new kiosk with craft beer and wine offerings.

Vice-President of The Forks community initiatives Clare MacKay said the `seasonally changing, curated list of craft beers and wines` offers up a full dining experience `in a way no other place in the city can.`

Beer will be offered in 12 or 16 ounce glasses ranging between $8-10 dollars each, and beer flights of four four-ounce tasters will cost between $12 and $20, depending on the beer.
The variety was handpicked by professional sommelier William Predhomme, who said its selection of both local products and independent suppliers is totally uniqye.

`To be able to create a truly craft list, one that isn`t bound to large suppliers, for a licensed food hall—there`s nothing like this anywhere in Canada right now,` he said.
Local beers from Half Pints Brewer and Fort Garry Brewing will join craft beers from Hop City, Rhyme and Reason and others.
