An old favorite and two new kids describe this weeks offerings at The Veil Brewing Co.

First is a new addition to the Never fruited-gose series, Never Scared.

To make Never Scared, The Veil uses “pink Himalayan Sea Salt in the kettle and [then] conditions this tart Gose on hundreds and hundreds of lbs of Pink Guava purée” according to a Facebook post. The 4.9 percent ABV gose is sold in 16-ounce cans with 190-210 cases produced.

Pricing is set at $17 plus tax per four-pack with a limit of two four-packs per person.

Next is the debut of Old Old Lions Lions a double dry-hopped version of the 8.6 percent ABV double IPA Old Lions. Hops used in the beer are Amarillo, Motueka and Simcoe.

Four-packs of Old Old Lions Lions will retail for $18 plus tax with a four four-pack per person limit.

Last but not least, is a new batch of Toof Ache. The 6.3 percent ABV IPA features Columbus, Mosaic and Simcoe hops “softened” by the addition of organic orange juice in the kettle. For this round, more orange juice was used than previous batches resulting in “easily the best batch of Toof we’ve ever released” according to Veil.
