Short’s Brewing Co. announces the 2nd annual release of their #WithoutDelayIPA, Psychedelic Cat Grass. Packaged and distributed within 24 hours, Psychedelic Cat Grass is the freshest India Pale Ale available in the Midwest. This year, packaging of Psychedelic Cat Grass will begin at 12:01 am on Wednesday, August 9th with distribution to take place throughout the day.

According to Scott Newman-Bale, Short’s Brewing Company Partner and CFO, “This was a fun logistical challenge in 2016, but this year we’re getting even more “psychedelic,” doubling production of this beer, and really pushing the limits. In the spirit of being more awesome, we wanted to double the people who can enjoy the freshest IPA without delay!”

Psychedelic Cat Grass (7.6% ABV – 72 IBU) is a triple dry hopped American India Pale Ale first brewed for HopCat. Aromas of pineapple, mango, and grapefruit accompany the brew’s slightly hazy, pale orange color and lasting white head. A dry finish is preceded by balanced flavors of tropical fruit and bitter hops.

This year, Psychedelic Cat Grass will be released in limited quantities throughout Short’s expanded Great Lakes distribution footprint; Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Short’s #WithoutDelayIPA will be packaged in six-packs of 12 oz bottles, four-packs of 16 oz cans, and various keg sizes.

The Short’s brew crew will be celebrating the release of Psychedelic Cat Grass with tapping parties throughout their Great Lakes region distribution footprint.
