Seven Bro7hers lockdown continues with first gose

Seven Bro7hers Brewery has created its first gose, Salty Tiers, the second in its limited edition Lockdown 2.0 series. The sweet and sour brew is bright pink.

Salty Tiers (4.5% ABV) is a blackberry and cherry sour with a touch of Himalayan sea salt to balance out the fruit and provide tartness.

Seven Bro7hers chief executive, Keith McAvoy, said: “While our beer houses and taproom have been closed in lockdown — and remain temporarily closed in tier three — we have used the time to get experimental in the brewery. And you can’t get more adventurous than our first pink pint!

“Salty Tiers is a really exciting brew for us as it’s our first gose beer and unlike any of our other beers. We can’t wait for people to try it.”

As Greater Manchester moves into tier 3 for the foreseeable future, Seven Bro7hers will continue to host tours of the brewery via video link. Punters can enjoy a beer tasting as they explore the family’s Salford brewery. The brothers have also teamed up with their siblings over at Sis4ers Distillery to offer gin and beer virtual tastings.
