A big round of applaud for Funky Bow Brewery! The brewery has received three medals at 2018 London Beer Competition. So Folkin’ Hoppy beer and G- String beer won silver medals, and Midnight Special beer won a bronze medal in the beer competition. Funky Bow Brewery is a journey of a father and his son, Paul and Abraham Lorrain. When Abraham was preparing to graduate from college, Paul bought him the Cadillac of homebrew kits and that’s where his passion started. Abraham started brewing in Paul’s garage and that lead them to where they are today. The style of this brewery is unique; a clean American style is intertwined with a rustic twist.

So Folkin’ Hoppy is an American IPA with 6.5% ABV. This luscious hoppy IPA is well-balanced by a lavish addition of hops and a little malt sweetness.  The first notes on the nose are of galaxy hops followed by nuances of pine, grapefruit and tropical notes. G- String Beer is American style pale ale with 5.5% alcohol by volume. This smooth and drinkable ale has nice flavours of malt and hops. The hints of sweet orange with coriander make this beer as unique as it is smooth. Midnight Special is a coffee porter style beer with 8% alcohol by volume. This beer is one of the favourite dark beers with so much flavours and complexity. The hints of roasted malts, chocolate, and coffee aroma mingle well to make this beer one of the most wanted ones.

Apart from brewing, the Funky Bow brewery also hosts live music events, brewery tours and wedding events. Here, you can visit local bands live every weekend.
