The beginnings of Campos Reales go back to 1950, when dozens of small farmers founded our winery in El Provencio, Cuenca, a small town in the D.O. La Mancha. The winery is located in the center of 3,500 hectares of our vineyards, with a great variety of grapes, of which our specialty and our privilege is still Tempranillo. It is a variety perfectly adapted to the unique microclimate of the area and aging in oak. During the near 70 years of our history we have been able to adapt the great winemaking traditions of La Mancha to the new winemaking techniques and new technology, achieving higher quality in our wines while respecting customs and our environment. Some of our vineyards are more than 70 years old and are ungrafted. These vineyards that have been passed down from father to son and are harvested by hand, with productions of between 2-3 kg per vine, harvested at the optimum point of maturation to obtain a wine of superior quality. We now have certified organic vineyards and almost all of our wines are now certified Vegan. In 2014 we launched an active campaign in social networks. Today we have presence on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram, and have even created a blog: www.elviajantedelvino.com with daily publications and content related to the winery and the world of wine.
