Kardenakhi winery, located in Kakheti (Eastern Georgia) was established in 1884 when Russian duke Sergei Sheremetiev visited Georgia and built a palace and a winery, producing high quality QVEVRI wine. After centuries of development and reconstruction, today Kardenakhi Winery is one of the leading wine producers in Georgia having largest number of Qvevri in region (700 Pitchers) making winery able to produce above 2 million bottles per year. Nowadays, winery operates successfully and looks for international markets to provide distributors with high quality Georgian, red and white dry wine.
