Description
Vendimia Seleccionada By Basilio Berisa is a blend of Tempranillo 50% and Graciano 50%. Because of the different aspects and orientation of the block we can harvest both varieties at the same time but both of them in the highest point of ripening. Because of a combined fermentation of both grapes we get a perfectly assembled and balanced wine. Filling out both varietal like just only one. A low temperature fermentation (20ºC), with a long skin contact of 60 days, gives to this wine a unique structure and personality. Finally a lightly barrel aging of 10 months helps to this wine to finish the process of maturing, creating a special wine with character and ready to surprise the most stringent of palates.

Basilio Berisa Wines is a small business that I created personally with the only goal of making great wines, on a unic and limited edition. Trying to bring only the best of each vintage to the costumer. As a proffesional winemaker and vineyard manager, I created this project aside of my job, just to make a limited productions, focusing in top quality wines. For the produccion only take the best quality grapes, not every year we can make all the wines. But the results are allways awesome.
