French President Lands in China to Protect Wine & Cheese!

Macron visits to extinguish sparks, and mellow relations with the China economy.

21/11/2019

With the current US-EU trade war, Emmanuel Macron visits China and arrives to attend China International Import Expo with strong intentions to make a deal to protect wine and cheese especially from counterfeiting.

With a tariff war between the US and EU, and between Washington and Beijing, Macron flies in to put things back in perspective, and relax tensions to circumvent the world-wide economic war.

Macron said at the China International Import Expo in Shanghai that China had reached an agreement with the EU for mutually protecting food and alcohol commodities, and the same will be documented by signing the deal the next day.

His visit is sure to see a little more relaxed and open market relations between the EU and China, the extent of which will be observed only in future exports.

Macron’s immediate action can be considered a move of crisis management since the trade war between US-EU has certainly become only a “mere race between tariffs” according to Sergio Matterella, post WTO verdict was announced on October 2nd.
