Maison Villevert Revamps Nouaison Gin

French spirits producer Maison Villevert has relaunched its G’Vine Nouaison Gin brand with a new recipe and bottle design.

Described as “intensely aromatic yet smooth and round”, Nouaison gin is crafted from distilled grapes and 14 botanicals.

It is made with a discontinuous 25HL pot still inspired from a traditional Charente-style shape.

The Ciroc vodka maker aims to shake up the industry with the new expression by combining grapes with a “complex and spicy” profile.

Crafted by master distiller and creator of G’Vine gin, Jean-Sébastien Robicquet, Nouaison, which means means setting, represents the metamorphosis stage of the star ingredient, the grape, from aromatic vine flower to luscious grape berry.

Bottled at 45% abv, Nouaison Gin explores a large flavour palette of sandalwood, bergamot, prune, java pepper and vetiveria.

Nouaison Gin was launched at the Nobu Shoreditch in London, the Tiger Bar in Paris, and the Atlas Bar in Singapore last week.
