Texas lawmakers are considering a bill that has some craft beer lovers split.

Awards just inside the front door of Carter Distributing's beer warehouse at 1305 Broad St. say a lot about the growing role of imported and craft beer in the Chattanooga area market.

Craft brewers would be able to distribute their own beer to retailers under a bill making its way through the Legislature.
