Bordeaux sweeps the board at Sotheby's sale
It was a clean sweep for Bordeaux at Sotheby’s latest London sale with wines from the region accounting for the 10 top-selling lots.
Petrus in particular was much in demand, six bottles of its 1982 making £12,338, another six bottles of its 1998 £10,575 and another six-pack of the 2005 the same.
Other best-selling lots included 1982 Latour, 2000 Mouton Rothschild, 1998, 1996 and 2000 Lafite.
