Skinner's Brewery have worked with Ben Tunnicliffe at Sennen Cove to launch an ale especially designed for the venue – Head Launcher.

The name Head Launcher is derived from Sennen Cove’s lifeboat controller, who oversees the launch and recovery of the life-saving vessel which is so important to the local community.

The ale coincides with a new outdoor bar being unveiled in time for the summer season, called the Surf Den. The Surf Den is a relaxed spot for beach-lovers and wave-chasers, who can enjoy a thirst-quenching drink, chilled DJ sets and freshly baked pizzas – making it the perfect spot to refuel after a day enjoying Cornish beach life.

Signature ale Head Launcher is a fantastic fit for the unique setting of Ben Tunnicliffe Sennen Cove and the Surf Den; a session beer, the pale ale has a strong malty flavour balanced by floral hops, and a refreshing finish.

Stuart Hughes, Sales Manager, commented: “In honour of this unique venue, we wanted to create the perfect ale for sundowners after a day at the beach. As a pale ale, Head Launcher is great with or without food, and best enjoyed while taking in the stunning views of Sennen Cove from the restaurant terrace.”
