Palazzo Vecchio is an artisanal winery in Montepulciano with 25 hectares of which 7 are used for their wines. It is located at the top of a hill in Valiano di Montepulciano, where it receives gentle southeastern breezes off Lago Trasimeno. All its vineyards are adjacent to each other and to the cellar, facilitating interventions and the winemaking processes. In the family for three generations, the owners are Alessandra Zorzi and Marco Sbernadori. Palazzo Vecchio produces high quality and excellent value Montepulciano wines, including Dogana Rosso di Montepulciano, Maestro Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, and Riserva di Montepulciano. They also make a single vineyard Nobile with 100% Sangiovese grapes from a vineyard planted in 1951.
