My name is Federico Fossati and I am the owner of Corte Aura, a new company located in the heart of Franciacorta. Firstly, I am to inform you that we are "new" and we started to market our product after having entered VinItaly 2013 where we presented our label for the first time to the public . Our intention is to become, with the time it takes, one of the leading companies in our area where we are investing heavily both from the point of view of research dedicated to the growth of the quality of our wines, the quality of the commercial and the service given to our customers. We produce sparkling Franciacorta DOCG certified (Metodo Classico, second fermentation in the bottle) and the grapes come from vineyards entirely selected by us that we have rented or bought. Our sparkling wines have a elevage sur lies higher than the minimum time required by the specification, with the wine spending an average of around 24 months of aging on Brut and also we would like to raise it to 30. On a technical level we can count on the support of a consultant known in the area for his ability and experience of over 20 years. Our aim is to constantly improve.
