The estate is owned by the construction group Briziarelli, founded in 1906 by Pio Briziarelli (1878-1966). Over the years the company acquired many plots of land in zones of special interest, including 50 hectares (123 acres) in the heart of the famous wine production zone for Sagrantino di Montefalco on the border of the communes of Bevagna and Montefalco. Starting in 2002 , 17 hectares (42 acres) of vineyards were planted, all entitled to Montefalco Rosso DOC or Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG. The vines are treated with meticulous care in order to achieve the highest possible quality. In 2012 the construction of a state-of-the-art wine making facility took a start, beautifully integrated into nature. Our winery is located in Umbria, the green heart of Italy, on the border of the communes of Bevagna and Montefalco.
