Borgo Turrito was born just over 10 years ago, thanks to Luca Scapola, a young entrepreneur descendant of an ancient family of winegrowners since 1890. For more than a century, Scapola family has been wine producer and in 2015 Borgo Turrito made its first wine label: CalaRosa The company vineyards enjoy the particular environmental and climatic conditions of the Tavoliere di Puglia, in an area that expresses a natural and historical vocation for the cultivation of the vine.The vineyards give life to grapes of different types: Falanghina, Aleatico and Nero di Troia. Borgo Turrito supports and applies the values ​​of sustainable agriculture. The winery is located in the center of an area of ​​great naturalistic interest bathed by the Cervaro stream and protected by the establishment of a Regional Park.
